The miracle of communion is a often overlooked in our rush to fit mass between meal prep and sportsball, relegated to obligation, barely scraping the shell of our consious throught. And yet the savior comes to us, and indwells within us. The joy of first communion is a way to shake off the cobwebs of the familiar, and show us of our privledge as partakers in body and blood of the risen savior. Seeing the joy of the little ones pulls the strings of our hearts and reminds us that we must be like the little children if we are to have hope of entering the kingdom of heaven.
